Options:

  • The student with dyslexia will benefit from the video and diagrams demonstrating SohCahToa. This limits the amount the student will have to read. Also, The third assignment option limits the amount of reading material as well.
  • I used Spanish as an example of the language that the student is struggling with. By using BabelFish I translated the general concept into the student's native language to help him/her understand.
  • The student with a hearing impairment would obviously benefit from visual aids. The video offers visual aids including different colors to go along with the language. The "Recap of SohCahToa" page helps the student with a hearing impairment to see the concept without having to listen.
  • The activity does not include anything physical so the student confined to a wheelchair would not be affected.
  • By giving the extra credit option the gifted student can do a different type of assignment for an extra challenge.
